Alexia Argiolas est candidate au doctorat en droit à l’Université de Montréal, sous la direction de la professeure Catherine Régis. Ses recherches portent sur le thème du droit à mourir et de l’autonome du patient, dans une perspective de droit comparé France – Canada. Ainsi, l’objectif de cette recherche est d’analyser la construction et l’impact du droit à mourir en France et au Canada. En envisageant par contraste les originalités et les lacunes de ces législations, on acquiert une meilleure compréhension de son droit national. Cela permet notamment de proposer, à terme, des pistes d’améliorations.

Alexia Argiolas is a doctoral candidate in law at the Université de Montréal, under the supervision of Professor Catherine Régis. Her research focuses on the theme of the right to die and patient autonomy, in a comparative law perspective between France and Canada. the objective of this research is to analyze the construction and impact of the right to die in France and in Canada. By contrasting the originalities and shortcomings of these legislations, we will gain a better understanding of our national law. This will allow us to propose, in the long run, ways to improve the law.
